Terms
What you are agreeing to, in language you can actually read.
These terms cover the coaching programmes, single sessions and institutional work. The community has its own terms, set by the platform that hosts it.
Last updated 5 September 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
Coaching services are provided by Naira Agvanean Coaching, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Contact: [email protected].
2. What the coaching is, and what it is not
This is performance and mindset coaching for dancers. It is forward-looking work about what you want, what is in the way, and what you will do differently.
It is not therapy, psychological treatment or medical care. It is not a substitute for any of those, and it does not diagnose or treat eating disorders, depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, self-harm or any other clinical condition. It is not physiotherapy or medical advice about your body.
If something in our work belongs with a clinician, I will say so directly, help you find the right person, and where useful continue coaching alongside them. If you are currently in crisis, please contact your doctor or local emergency services rather than booking a session.
Coaching is a collaboration, not a purchase of an outcome. I bring method, structure and honesty. What changes depends on the work you do between sessions, so no particular result, role, promotion or audition outcome is promised or guaranteed.
3. Applying and booking
Programmes start with an introduction call. Booking or having that call does not create a contract and does not oblige either of us to proceed. A booking is confirmed when we have agreed the programme in writing and the first payment has cleared.
Single sessions are available to members of the Dance Mindset Community.
4. Fees and payment
Current fees are published on the site. Coaching fees are exempt from VAT. Fees for individual coaching are invoiced in euros. Community membership is billed separately by the platform in US dollars.
Payment is due before the programme begins, or according to the instalment plan agreed in writing. Where a programme is paid in instalments, the total is higher than the pay-in-full price, and the remaining instalments stay due for the agreed term.
5. Your right to change your mind
If you are a consumer in the EU, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a contract made online, without giving a reason. If you ask for the coaching to begin within those 14 days, you may be asked to confirm that request and acknowledge that the right to withdraw is lost once the service has been fully performed. Where you withdraw after work has begun with your agreement, you pay a proportionate amount for what has already been delivered.
To withdraw, email me. There is no form to find and no hoop to jump through.
6. Rescheduling, missed sessions and cancellation
Dancers' calendars move, and that is understood. Sessions can be rescheduled with reasonable notice at no cost.
If either of us concludes the work is not the right fit, either of us may end it with written notice. You pay for the sessions delivered up to that point, and I refund anything paid in advance for sessions not delivered.
7. Confidentiality
Everything said in a session is confidential, including from a parent or institution paying for it. When I work with a school or company, they receive themes and attendance, never anything an individual dancer said.
The exception is the ordinary one: where I believe there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else, or where the law requires disclosure, I may need to act, and I would tell you.
8. Dancers under 18
Coaching for anyone under 18 requires a parent or guardian's written consent. Before the first session, the dancer, the parent or guardian and I agree together what is shared and what stays private. The invoice goes to the parent or guardian; the session notes and recordings belong to the dancer.
9. Recordings and materials
Where we agree to record a session, the recording and the written notes are yours to keep, for your own use. Worksheets, exercises and the Mindset Check guides remain my intellectual property and are licensed to you personally. Please do not republish, resell or distribute them, or share them with a group without asking. Asking is usually a yes.
You may not record a session without my knowledge and agreement, just as I would not record you without yours.
10. What you are responsible for
Turning up, being honest about what is actually happening, and doing the work between sessions. You remain responsible for your own decisions, your training, your health and your career choices. Coaching informs those decisions; it does not replace your judgement or your medical team's.
11. Institutional work
Workshops, intensives and residencies for schools, academies and companies are agreed in a written quotation covering scope, dates, fee, travel and cancellation. That quotation, once accepted, sits alongside these terms and takes precedence where the two differ.
12. Liability
I deliver this work with the care and skill you would expect of a certified professional coach. To the extent the law allows, my total liability arising from our agreement is limited to the fees you paid for the services in question, and I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost roles, lost income or lost opportunities.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
13. Website
The site is provided as it is. I try to keep everything accurate and current, but content on it is general information rather than advice for your specific situation, and it does not create a coaching relationship on its own.
14. Complaints
If something is wrong, email me and say so plainly. I will respond within 14 days and try to resolve it directly. If we cannot, you may take the matter to the competent Dutch court, and consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
15. Governing law
Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer rules give you the right to bring proceedings where you live.
16. Changes
These terms may be updated. The version in force for your programme is the one in effect when you booked it, and I will tell you if anything material changes during our work together.
